Dear Valued Friends and Family,

As proud owners of Bagel Café, our family has always believed that a great meal is about more than just food—it’s about bringing people together, supporting one another, and strengthening our community.

Like so many of you, we’ve felt the impact of rising costs everywhere—at home, in our business, and in the lives of our customers. The cost of essentials, like eggs—our number one ingredient—has skyrocketed, with the average dozen in California reaching $9.17.

Then came the devastating fires, leaving an even greater toll on our neighbors and friends. It has been a tough road for all of us.

In response, we asked ourselves: How can we make a difference?

Our answer was simple: by giving back.

Starting February 19, 2025, we rolled back prices on over 15 of our most beloved items—including our egg sandwiches—to what they were 20 years ago. This included $3.95 egg sandwiches on select days, nostalgic pricing on our famous melts and smoked salmon specials, and a 10% discount on online orders—all as a way to ease the burden and give back to our amazing community.

Now, as we reach the end of this initiative on May 29, we are proud to say we met our goal. Your incredible support has made it all possible. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, visits, and shared meals that helped make this effort such a success.

Though the special pricing ends as planned at the end of May, our mission remains the same: to serve, uplift, and celebrate the community that has stood by us through thick and thin. We can’t wait to welcome you in the months ahead and throughout the summer.
